(BlackPressMagazine.com) - OVER 3,500,000 people have tuned in to Black Press Channel on YouTube for exclusive video podcasts with some of Black America's most important media pros, politicians, civil rights leaders, musicians, and actors.

As of May 1, 2009, BlackPodcasts.com/BlackPressRadio.com more than 3.5 million video viewers have watched video podcasts on the Black Press Channel on YouTube, which launched in October 2007. In addition, BlackPressRadio.com reported over 1,000,000 people have downloaded the audio podcasts to the iPod or computer, up more from over 75,000 in July, 2007.

The numbers are growing so fast BlackPressRadio didn't have time to enjoy their 50,000th download commercial from this summer. They are now working on the 1,000,000th download version that will include a special song from the world famous DJ Kid Capri and an interview with Mr. Cee, who is credited with helping to discover Biggie Smalls. Undisputed: Tango is the champion

Nearly than 400,000 people have watched "Tango tells all" interview's sneak peek video podcast or downloaded the podcast to their iPod, mp3 player or computer. Some 159,925 people have watched the video podcast where Tango confesses the real reason he went on the "I Love New York" reality TV show.

"We don't make the number of listens available to the public but you can track amount of downloads by the number of "Plays" next to each podcast," said DC Livers, managing editor for Black Press Magazine. "Our IT team is hard at work developing some really cool features and with our upcoming coverage of major events, I think the best is yet to come," said Livers.
